OVERVIEW

VCR service includes full inspection of the condition of all components, their electrical connections and their ability to perform the task for which they were intended.

During the service comprehensive system checks will be made, including disassembling the VCR.

VIDEO HEAD REPLACEMENT

• Electronic set up for head switching points.
• Deck mechanism clean and lubricate.
• Soak test.
• All expandable mechanical parts replaced.
• Mechanical parts replaced.
• Mechanical set up for tape guides and back-tension.
• Reset head hour meter back to zero where applicable.

INSPECTION, TEST, LABOUR & REPLACEMENT OF PARTS

The VCR service includes the replacement of video heads, all wearing parts, leaning of the mechanism, full set-up and re-alignment to the original specification, which will restore the operation and performance to «as new» and provide trouble free operation 24 hours a day.
Due to the work involved it is essential that the service is carried out off site, there for Blue Chip Security Ltd will provide a replacement loan VCR for the full duration of the service.

REPAIR GUARANTEE

Your VCR will be repaired/serviced to the highest standards and the repair is guaranteed for a period of three months from the invoice date.

• Only use commercial tapes with reputable quality.
• Avoid using high-grade tapes, as these can cause premature
  head wear in certain machines.
